Love AG screen wash but given the cost locally have purchased Prestone concentrate. The label indicates to use neat in winter for protection down to minus 18. Anyone simply dilute it 50/50 for winter?

I put 2 litres of 1:1 in her A3 in Dec 2023. She said it froze in parts on her screen at -2.5c even after the interior heating had been on. I find that hard to believe but I've just added 1litre of neat to the 1litre left in when the warning light comes on.

Definitely do not use neat. If you do, when the tank level gets low you will see the bright yellow liquid start to go gloopy and that has the potential to go hard in the nozzles / tubes and block it up. Its been a mild winter and my usual 1:2 winter mix has not frozen at all and as far as I can remember, it never does. I go as much as 1:9 in summer.
