Just bought a Nilfisk C110 auto version and so far apart from the less than flexible 5m hose its great compared with my Karcher K series that went the way they seem to all too soon leaking oil slowly and pissing water out of the main housing.
I am still concerned about storing after use and would like your opinion on my method of avoiding frost damage other than the wife unfriendly option of storing in my house. I used the following method last year when it was very cold and the machine survived.
After use turn switch off and tap off. Activate the lance until water stops coming out then disconnect the lance and hose and blow the hose through to empty any water for storage. Then blow through the water inlet on the pressure washer, shake upside getting rid of any further water and store in hut sat off the ground on a box, with the body wrapped up in an old outdoor jacket I no longer wear.
Am I right in thinking as long as the pump is not full of water and not exposed to frost it should be okay.
