Which Nilfisk?

Having trouble with my Karcher so I am looking for a new PW. I'd love a Kranzle but don't know if they are worth so much more in comparison to Nilfisk. I'd only use it 8-10 times per year so I cannot justify the extra, so I am looking tot he Nilfisk.

I am looking at the Nilfisk P150.2-10 X-tra ÂŁ384 https://www.cleanstore.co.uk/products/Product.asp?ID=5646

and the Nilfisk E160.1-10 H X-tra ÂŁ300
https://www.cleanstore.co.uk/products/Product.asp?ID=16238

They're both 160 bar, the E160 is 2300w and 500L per hour and the P150 is 2900w and 610L per hour.

Will I notice a difference in cleaning power for patios etc with the P150? Does anyone else own the Nilfisk and can assist me, please?

Thanks Li

Flow rate with the P150 is better. Flow rate means better cleaning power.

When I last looked into things, the E140 was the current version and had two main downsides - the hose was crap, and it could not be replaced. There was a design change from the E140.2 to the E140.3 which meant an aftermarket hose like qwashers couldn't be used.

I wished I'd gone for the P150.

As above the flow rate of the P150 would push me that way, the P150, E150 and E160 both come with the superflex steel braided rubber hoses which are excellent hoses as per qwashers/direct hoses aftermarket hoses.

The problem with nilfisk hoses though is as far as I'm aware there isn't an off the shelf shorty gun or an adaptor that allows a shorty gun to be used, (a must have for car cleaning as far as I'm concerned, although not really req'd for patio cleaning etc).

I have the E150, a very good machine apart from the shorty gun issue, however mine developed the start/stop valve problem after 3 months a common issue apparently, repaired under warranty so no problem, it did however start to display the same symptoms again a few months later.

I got fed up and relegated the Nilfisk to the shed (mrs still uses it though for the patio) and bought the Kranzle 1152TST a far superior piece of kit, at a cost though obviously.

For balance, I have a basic 120 [or it might be a 130, haven't had it out of the shed for a while] and find it perfectly adequate for my needs - car, flagstones etc.

For the flags, I use one of their 'oscillating' blast nozzles and it cleans off any moss, slippy green growth in the areas where the sun never get to in Winter etc and you'd not put your hand in the way of that thing. I also have one of their 90 degree nozzles for underbody & wings etc - works a treat.

Only gripe I have is the unrelenting nature of the original hose which feels designed to fight you at every turn, esp in the colder weather ] but more flexible examples are available on eBay
