Folks, I am looking to buy some wool pads and looking for some recommendations? I will be using them on a rotary and flex 340. Many thanks

The thinner version was designed specifically for dual action polishers. http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/machi...-country-constant-pressure-pads/lake-country-5-5-inch-foamed-wool/prod_632.html The good folk over on Autopia did a test using a range of manufacturers pads on a dual action polisher and concluded the thin wool pad cut more than the Meguiar's microfibre cutting discs. https://www.autopia.org/forums/the-...the-detail-institute-presented-by-autopia-carcare-com/43194-da-cutting-pad.html I've used the thin foamed wool pads on a Das 6 PRO and was very impressed with the level of cut. The Scholl Topwool pad wouldn't work properly on the Duetto as the nap is too long and is best suited to forced-drive polishers.

The first is Scholl's Softouch Topwool pad - http://www.in2detailing.co.uk/scholl-concepts-premium-softouch-topwool-polishing-pad.html It's a tad expensive but longevity is good. I also use Lake Country's Purple wool pad too - it's cheaper than the Scholl wool pad. https://carpro.uk.com/products/lake-country-purple-foamed-wool-cutting-pads Both give very good cut on the rotary and 3401.
